Since its opening in 1987, Cheongjak Art has held an average of 10 special exhibitions and invitational exhibitions of Korean and Western paintings, sculptures, and prints by senior and mid-career artists on an annual basis, and created the “Cheongjak Art Prize” on its 10th anniversary to support talented young artists.

For nearly 30 years, we have been learning and working diligently, just looking ahead.

It was rewarding and heartwarming when we held several invitational and charity exhibitions for the disabled with the late Unbo Kim Ki-chang to give them hope.

In 2006, he founded the Seoul Open Art Fair (SOAF) and has been playing a role in the development of the art world as a co-president, exclusively supporting outstanding young artists with a vision for the future.

In line with the era of global culture, SOAF has participated in overseas art fairs such as the Cologne Art Fair in Germany, New York (SCOPE), LA, Hong Kong, Sydney, Spain, and Shanghai (more than 35 times), actively and faithfully playing a role in promoting Korean art and artists in the global culture.

청작아트는 1987개관이래 한국화, 서양화, 조각, 판화 등 연평균 10여회에 걸쳐 원로, 중견 유명 작가들의 기획전, 초대전을 개최하였고 개관10주년에 “ 청작미술상 ”을 만들어 역량있는 젊은 작가들을 지원하고 있는 품격이 있는 전문갤러리입니다.

근 30년 가까이 그저 앞만 보고 배워가며 성실하게 열심히 달려왔습니다.

그들에게 희망을 줄 때는 보람으로 가슴 벅찬 일도 많았습니다.

2006년도에는 서울오픈아트페어(SOAF)를 창립하여 공동대표로써 미술계 발전에 일익을 담당하고 있으며 미래지향적인 뛰어난 젊은작가를 전속으로 지원하고 있습니다.

글로벌 문화시대에 맞추어 독일 퀼른(Cologne) 아트페어를 비롯하여 뉴욕 (SCOPE), LA, 홍콩, 시드니, 스페인, 상해 등 해외아트페어에 (35회 이상) 참여하여 세계문화속의 한국 미술과 작가를 알리는 역할을 적극적으로 성실히 하고 있습니다.
