Gallery MYUNG started in Insa-dong, Seoul on a sunny spring day in 1978 and has grown into a gallery representing Seoul in modern and contemporary art history. For 45 years, we have supported talented writers of all genres with a focus on diversity and introduced their potential domestically and internationally. Through communication with artists and art lovers, we are expanding the base of the art market, discovering new artists, providing a wider platform, and carrying out various creative activities. Through high-quality special exhibitions, we will introduce more artists to the domestic and overseas art markets and focus more on promoting artists and Korean art to the world.

갤러리 명은 1978년 화창한 봄날 서울 인사동에서 시작하여 근현대 미술사에 서울을 대표하는 갤러리로 발돋움 하였다.  45년동안 다양성을 중심으로 모든 장르의 재능있는 작가들을 지원하며 그들의 잠재력을 국내 및 해외에 소개하고 있다. 작가`와 미술애호가들과의 소통을 통해 미술 시장의 저변을 확대하고 신진 작가들을 발굴하여  더 넓은 플렛폼을 제공하며 다양한 방식의 창착 활동을 진행하고 있다. 완성도 있는 기획전시를 통해 국내 및 해외 미술시장에 더욱 많은 작가들을 소개하며 작가와 한국 미술을 전세계에 알리는데 더욱 전념할 것이다.
